No sound from the microphone? Microphone sound too low? - Check the settings on your Xbox console. Ensure the microphone volume is turned up to the maximum in the "Headset chat mixer" settings. - Adjust the balance between game sound and chat sound to find the optimal setting. - Confirm the microphone is properly connected.
Echo from the microphone? - Turn off the monitoring mode in the Xbox console settings to eliminate microphone echoes.
Noise or low volume when connected to Xbox? - Make sure the "Headset Volume" setting on the Xbox console is set to the maximum. - Verify the dongle is inserted fully and tightly into the controller to avoid electrical noise.
